One note about shooting with two cameras: Your editor will need to sync the footage between the different views. Right before you ask the first interview question, clap your hands loudly in the view of both cameras (yes, just like an old fashion clapboard). Modern editing software like Premiere have auto-sync features, but this loud clap will help you line up the clips initially.
Not only do subtitles and closed captions help viewers, they also help optimize your video for search by giving you another opportunity to highlight important keywords. There’s no shortage of content out there in the digital world. People are overloaded with information that they cannot process. Creating an impact through videos is therefore that much easier.
You can always cut out footage, but sometimes it’s not possible to go back and capture more. To make sure you have the clips you need, shoot multiple takes of each scene. To make sure you don’t miss a moment, try counting down from 5 before you start the action and before you finish recording.
If you have experienced, confident actors in your company, you’re lucky. Video talent is a rare resource. But with a little bit of coaching (and a fair share of nervous laughter), you can help your teammates thrive in front of the camera.

Ultimately, none of what we’ve discussed so far matters much if your videos suck. The year of 2018 is also set to be the year that even more small players in the online business world will be getting into video and dominating the scene. In order to truly succeed on YouTube, you need to approach it differently than other social platforms. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter revolve around both creating and sharing great content with the goal of creating awareness, engagement, and conversation. (That’s a simple definition, but for the purpose of this argument, it will work for now). It’s about actually socializing.

It’s important that you reset the way you look at YouTube channels versus YouTube pages as you begin to think about YouTube strategically. You need to think of YouTube as a kind of second website. Your channel is the homepage that anchors your YouTube website. Your videos are the webpages.
While the tutorials are tied directly to Facebook’s product, they’re not pitchy. Instead, they aim to provide answers to users’ most common questions in an entertaining and lighthearted way. It doesn’t hurt that they’re also simple to follow and clock in at only 20 seconds long.

After you upload your channel icon and art, add a channel description, a company email, and links to your company website and other social platforms in the About section.
