Music, and entertainment-focused channels were among those with the highest view counts on YouTube in March 2018. We take a look at the most-watched YouTube channels last month, and confirm which publishers generated the most views for their video content….
When researching keywords, I recommend doing keyword research both for Google, and specifically for YouTube. This way, you’ll make sure that you’re ranking as best you can on both search engines, increasing views significantly. Any of the top keyword research tools will work for Google (I discuss them in-depth here), and I most recommend keywordtool.io’s YouTube-specific search. Prioritize the keywords you find in the YouTube search, as this will be your best bet for being found.
While basic video marketing is still a strong campaign tool, there are some recent developments in the world of video content that you can employ to boost your efforts. For 2018, there are three things to focus on including in your video content strategy:

One note about shooting with two cameras: Your editor will need to sync the footage between the different views. Right before you ask the first interview question, clap your hands loudly in the view of both cameras (yes, just like an old fashion clapboard). Modern editing software like Premiere have auto-sync features, but this loud clap will help you line up the clips initially.

Finally, mark your good clips. Even if you’re recording a scripted video, you might have to record each section 10 or more times. Once your subject nails the take, wave your hand in front of the lens. That way, the editor can scrub directly to this visual cue and save a lot of time while reviewing the footage.
